At an early age, I inherited a passion for cars from my dad, who drag-raced flathead Fords in the '50s.  Growing up in the '70s, I built and enjoyed many muscle cars of that era.  After a stint in the U.S. Air Force, where I became certified to weld aircraft, jet-engine, and missile components, I returned to civilian life.  I completed a 4yr apprenticeship in the tool and die industry, which led to owning my own tool and die shop for 15 years, while also raising a family.  My family is now grown and my son has inherited the same passion for cars that I inherited from my dad.  While I have knowledge of "old-school" cars, he embraces the new technology of computer-controlled, forced induction platforms.  We have come together, to combine our talents and interests, to give birth to McKovich Performance.
